The curtain that created the "Menacing Abstractions" in the previous gallery was my first experimentation with light. I then became curious as to how light would filter through plastics and fashioned a light box, an array of colored lights, multi-hued plastic sheets, and light reflective objects to create this series. These explorations are done in the dark with my light box on the floor. I manipulate the plastics, much like I manipulated the curtain, with my left hand while taking the photo with my right. The resulting images are edgier and, again, only exist in photographic form.
